Koywe, a fintech focused on innovative payment solutions for Latin America, commissioned FriWi to develop a mobile app that enables physical stores to process multi-currency payments quickly and securely. This solution was specifically designed for Android-based POS devices, ideal for tourist and retail settings where foreign currencies and cryptocurrencies are commonly used.

The solution developed by FriWi was designed to turn a POS device into a fully autonomous multi-currency checkout. The acquiring user can choose from multiple payment methods (PIX, QRi, LigoQR, cryptocurrencies, etc.), view automatic currency conversion, and generate a QR code that the customer scans with their own device to complete the transaction. The entire process is executed in seconds, with instant confirmation and a clear visual flow guiding the operator at each step. Each stage was designed considering the space limitations of compact POS devices, always prioritizing readability and ease of use.
