In Brazil's healthcare ecosystem, thousands of independent professionals must issue tax receipts for the services they provide. This process —known as the issuance of Notas Fiscais Eletrônicas (NFS-e)— varies from one municipality to another and often requires technical and fiscal knowledge that is not always accessible to healthcare professionals. To address this challenge, the goal was to create a unified digital platform that would simplify the fiscal and administrative management of doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and other specialists.

FriWi developed NFS-evolution, a modern, scalable, and user-centered platform. The system allows healthcare professionals to issue receipts and NFS-e automatically, offering a fully digital and error-free experience. Key features include automatic issuance integrated with A1 digital certificates, automatic tax calculation (ISSQN, PIS/COFINS, and others), management dashboard with metrics, patient history, and financial reports, patient management with fiscal data and associated services, regulatory compliance and data encryption ensuring total security, and adaptive, modern interface optimized for desktop and mobile use.
Impact
NFS-evolution has achieved exceptional results: over 5,000 NFS-e issued successfully, more than 250 active professionals using the platform, 99% user satisfaction rate, and reduced invoice issuance time from hours to minutes.

Technical details
The platform is built on a modern and scalable architecture that integrates Next.js and React for the frontend, Node.js for the backend, PostgreSQL as the main database, Tailwind CSS for design, and deployment on Vercel for maximum performance and scalability.
